We're bringing Charlie Porter on for a Q&A. Got any questions for him?
Legendary educator, improvisor, classical musician, and tonebase artist Charlie Porter is coming for a special 1-hour tonebase Q&A on September 23rd at 11 AM PST. Use this discussion page to submit your questions to him in advance, and we’ll answer as many of the top ones as we possibly can! The stream will be available for everyone to watch on the site afterward, just in case you can’t make it live. If you had the chance, what would you ask him?

Hi Ethan - I'm not sure if he has covered this in one of his classes but, what are the top three things he has found that are instrumental in him gaining a mastery of intonation (other than time spent in the practice room:)? If he has covered this in one of the classes already, I would be very interested to know which one to refer to.

How did you practice technical drills to be so incredibly adept (single/double/triple tongue, flexibility, range, fingers)?

Having my own embouchure issues. Bottom lip wants to slide down and under the top. Also, any suggestions to address having a double buzz?

Hello Ethan
I'd be interested to hear Charlie Porter's thoughts on Chris Coletti's “How to play high” course.
