Would love to ask Ingrid about throat engagement, particularly the tongue rising at the back to block air, and relaxing that area while playing

is there a course coming!?

This is a really good discussion. I also appreciate the introduction to the book about breathing.
I met Ingrid many years ago at the Banff ITG conference. Very much enjoyed her playing.

Wow, I was very much surprised about what difference a big Monette mouthpiece can make. I also liked the issue about the involvement of the whole relaxed body in order to be a more efficient player. The fact that all this years of training being taught to breathe through the mouse, instead breathing through the nose, which is more beneficial for better endurance, it is hard to switch and relearn.
This masterclass I liked very much. Many thanks to Ingrid Jensen.
