Opening up Your Low Register

While the high register may be more exciting, many players feel frustrated by thin, out of tune notes under low C. How do we learn to open up and get a monster sound at the bottom of the instrument? Ethan talks visualizations, strategies, and exercises for getting a warm, rich, beautiful sound in the "real money register!"

Hi Ethan!
I'm a beginner (slowly moving toward intermediate) and I really struggle below the low B: in particular I can get a decent sound (sometimes...) if I slur down, but my attacks are dreadful (especially at low volume) and double-tounging is basically impossible (I struggle even at low C, actually).
I guess this is THE topic for this entire webinar, so hopefully you have many tips, but I saw no comments and wanted to pitch in :)
Thank you for this webinar: there are many resources on how to get higher notes, but much less about a good low range, which I personally think is possibly even more important for non-lead trumpets!
[Unfortunately I live in Hong Kong, so I'm not sure I will be able to join due to time zones, but I will try my best!]
